2011-2012 Coaches Profiles

		I've been playing Volleyball for over 8 years. I graduated from Deer Valley High School in 2010 where I played as a right side hitter. In high school i was awarded 2nd team all league sophomore year and 1st team all league my Junior and Senior year. I also was awarded Coaches Award Junior year and Most Valuable Player my Senior year. I also played for Diablo Valley Club all throughout high school year. As of right now i am playing at Diablo Valley College as a right side hitter and a setter. I plan on going onto a four year to continue playing. I have helped in many Deer Valley Volleyball camps teaching girls basic techniques for volleyball. I was also an assistant coach of Diablo Valleys 16-1 Teal Volleyball team for the 2010-2011 year.

		My Philosophy for Volleyball is that i want to teach the players the skills that i have learned over the years of playing volleyball. I love helping players learn more everyday and watch them become successful players. I love to win but from experience i know its not all about winning, its about playing as a team and becoming the best you can be. I feel that how you practice is how you play and being positive throughout your games is a key. I love players who always give more than 100% when practicing and playing it shows me they are really committed. I also feel that as a player you can't only be physically in the game but mentally in the game as well. Volleyball is my passion and I love coaching players that are willing to learn and have fun with Volleyball.
