Photo Coming Soon...		For 30 years I have been involved in volleyball either as a player, coach, or parent of a player, so I understand all aspects of the sport. I am CIF certified and have coached all levels of volleyball from youth to college throughout the bay area. I am currently coaching the girls’ varsity volleyball team at Berean Christian High School.

		My philosophy is based on the belief that hard work plus lots of encouragement produce the best results. I like to run energetic practices that incorporate many game simulations. I stress proper technique, hustle and positive feedback. In addition, because volleyball, as most sports, is a mental game as much as a physical one, I try to teach some basic life skills within the practices. I teach my players how to set goals, be focused, manage their self –talk and be a team player.

		Although I definitely like to win, that is never my emphasis. My goal is to develop each player to their maximum potential and if they play to that potential then they are successful. The smiles that come as players learn new skills are the ultimate reward.
